Submission Guidelines for May 11 Alihoop

All artwork will be accepted, this is NOT a juried show.

Artists must decided for themselves if they want to sell their work or if they just want it for display. If they are selling it they can set the price they would like. They also must decide if they want to just hang their work for the duration of the May 11th party or if they would like to keep it hanging at the Farwell for the remainder of the showing which will go for the remainder of the month. The artists will keep all but 20% of the sale of the work, 20% will go to to Artivism in Maine to help fund future Alihoop events.

All art must have their name and contact information legibly written on the back of their work along with what price they are asking for it. We will put the artist’s information on a sticker below the work along with the price.

All artwork must have a way to be displayed, if it is to be hung on the wall there must be a way to affix the work to the wall. We will install the work and also take it down after the show.

In the off chance that something were to happen to the work therewithin the Lumber Barn all artists must sign a waiver when they drop their work off to so as not to hold the Farwell museum responsible. Please know that this is just an extra measure to protect the Farwell, your artwork will be respected and well cared for and we do not expect any harm done to it.

Drop off and pick up for artwork will be in two locations on two dates to try and accommodate the geographical logistics.
